Thanks to its qualities Plus+TON® is non porous. With this feature is impossible for any staining agent to deposit on the surface and to penetrate the inner layers of the ceramic, thereby allowing its removal simply with water. Plus+Ton is certified stain-proof and also limescale-proof.
It is well known that on the standing surfaces of the common shower trays, of any material, are applied slip-proof materials which roughen the surface thereby facilitating the deposit of impurities, organic waste, and bacteria, without giving the certainty of the durability of the treatment over time. Ceramica Althea guarantees thanks to Plus+TON® in its own single fusion a slip-proof surface, achieved at very high temperatures of 1.250° and is for this reason permanent and guaranteed a lifetime. The fusion process, ensuring the imperviousness of the surface, also provides a strong oxidizing power. In this way, the development of pathogenic agents is eliminated, therefore the completely non-toxic material discourages the proliferation of bacteria.

With a thickness of only 3 cm, the PLUS shower tray is extremely easy to handle. Thanks to its features it overcomes the barriers of classic ceramics and, with its fully glazed sides, is reversible. It can be installed in any bathroom environment, adjacent to walls, in the centre of the room or flush to the floor, making the showering area accessible also to those with disabilities.
Furthermore the design is studied to confer beneficial effects to the feet and, therefore, to the entire body. In fact, the special hemispheres activate a foot massage that stimulates blood circulation conferring tangible benefits.
